Amy

Amy is a life-long student of psychology. Cultivating this interest while raising 12 children has resulted in a BS in Psychology from Old Dominion University and extensive course work in professional counseling at Liberty University. Amy’s therapeutic style includes sharing mindfulness-based stress management techniques and cognitive behavioral approaches. Amy enjoys counseling, especially with people facing major transitions in life, such as the elderly and those individuals faced with seeking a new career or starting over. Her hobbies include writing, reading, and sketching. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 28 years and is delighted to have recently welcomed her first grandchild.
